WUSTL is definitely one of my top choices... possibly #1. I would love to get some good news from them.

If I get $$$, I'll likely end up here regardless of T14 acceptances. No guarantees though. That said, I'm expecting the 2/3 updaters' acceptances tomorrow or Friday. The 2/1 crowd who had already updated twice before were in the day after their update, i.e. yesterday. Not the day of. Temper your expectations... but keep gmail open and updating constantly until close of business anyway

It's my first choice and I wouldn't think twice to choose it over my two other full scholarship offers.

True about the assumption on reject/wl but the odds aren't in anyones favor the longer time goes by and no acceptance has been handed out.

just curious, for those of you whos #1 it is, why? Is it purely a rankings thing? going to the midwest? Something else?

Where are your full schollys at? I have a nearly full ride at UIUC and I'm trying to decided a full ride there and a half ride (which is what I'll probably get) at WUSTL.

Building is sweet (as is the campus), everyone I met when I visited was extremely nice, professors included, low COL, St. Louis is a cool city, and it's a good school with at least decent portability that throws $$$ at people like it grows on trees. Low debt + fun 3 years + good school and location = win.

I'm guessing Temple is one of his others judging from his LSN profile.
Temple and Tulane thus far.

im not sure if you know this by now, but if you get in, your status checker still says "complete", so checking the status checker obsessively might not be particularly helpful.....
