In yesterday! 7,000 a year plus they're giving me 10,200 if I work 8hrs/wk as a "graduate fellow." Not too shabby

Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone else have lines for seat deposits on their status checker? Not sure if it means anything or not but the stress has finally gotten to me and I had to ask.

Current Status: Application Ready for Review
Current Status Date: 1/13/2010
Decision Status: Decision Pending
Decision Status Date: 1/20/2010
I received an email from the office of the registrar on 2/5/10 asking a couple questions about my in-state tuition qualifications. She wanted to clear up a couple discrepancies, I guess, in order to approve me for in-state tuition. However, I have not yet received an acceptance letter of any kind. Of course, I live near DC, so the weather has delayed mail for a while now.
I'm wondering why the office of the registrar would go to the trouble to approve in-state tuition if I have not yet been admitted to the school. Has anyone else received a similar email - does anyone know what this means?
Thanks!

When is your review complete date? I am just wondering how long it will take for my letter to arrive.mgiven wrote:In yesterday! 7,000 a year plus they're giving me 10,200 if I work 8hrs/wk as a "graduate fellow." Not too shabby

Re: William & Mary
Just got my acceptance package on Friday (after submitting the application the previous Thursday, very quick turnaround!). I got the Graduate Fellow scholarship, I'm wondering if they offer that to pretty much everybody...
I'm seriously considering attending here, although I'm still waiting to hear back from some other schools.
Btw, my numbers were 168/3.71, just because people are usually curious

I'd imagine they determine residency status for everyone who applies, not just those who are accepted.meme3 wrote:Current Status: Application Ready for Review

Re: William & Mary
Thanks, I thought that was probably the case - I'm hoping this means I wasn't an obvious No - because they probably wouldn't spend their time to figure out if I was in-state if it was obvious I wouldn't be admitted either way.
However - I was hoping someone might have a little more insight into this than that. Has anyone received any emails like this?

Thanks! My decision date is the same but I still haven't gotten anything in the mail. Hopefully there will be something for me tomorrow.mgiven wrote:Application received: 1/27Pussy Galore wrote:When is your review complete date? I've been Decision Pending for over a month now. Good sign? Bad Sign? Am I just going to have to wait until March?

From what I can gather in this thread, it most likely means:Yellowcard wrote:I've been Decision Pending for over a month now. Good sign? Bad Sign? Am I just going to have to wait until March?
1. You should not be expecting $
2. You should expect to wait until March
However, be aware that some people have gone from decision pending to accepted. However, there have been maybe 4 max in this thread. Don't count on it.
Bottom line: You never really know, but expect to know in March.

Hey! So I went to review complete today after only a week of applying. My numbers aren't that strong and this is a huge reach for me. Does this mean I'll be receiving a decision sooner than March? Thanks!

Not only this, but also expect to be either waitlisted or rejected, I am afraid.eandy wrote:From what I can gather in this thread, it most likely means:Yellowcard wrote:I've been Decision Pending for over a month now. Good sign? Bad Sign? Am I just going to have to wait until March?

Judging from your GPA--you're more than likely in. A Congrats! Admit packet mailed message should pop up in a day or two under mailings on the status checker if you're in.Laurenm1024 wrote:Hey! My status looks identical. I'll post what it means when I find out. I think it's been this way for a few weeks.meme3 wrote:Current Status: Application Ready for Review

I've been DP since the beginning of November and I've pretty much lost interest in W&M.
