Yes. I agree. Mine was like late Friday afternoon so I'm slightly incredulous that I could hear something this week but also scared out of my mind about what it might mean if I DON'T hear something this week.

I had it friday morning, I feel the exact same way.

Agreed. Mine was late last week and I don't know what to think. Last year, those with interviews the week before Thanksgiving got notified on the Weds before Thanksgiving...and I can hardly find anyone on LSN notified 12/8 or 12/15 or 12/22 had interviews before Thanksgiving...

If it makes anyone who hasn't heard feel any better, so far only 29 people have updated on LSN that they've gotten acceptances this year, whereas 59 LSN users were accepted the week before Thanksgiving last year.

Congrats to all who have gotten in.
I had my JR1 on Friday, 11/20. Anyone have a realistic estimate as to when I should be worried about the JR2?
My full stats and URM status are on LSN, which I have a link to in my profile, if that's any help.

a huge congrats to everybody getting their JR2s today, it certainly seems like JR was busy all day long. 5 o'clock has come and gone, so i'm guessing it's safe to say that's it for today. not thrilled about not hearing back, but i'm hoping for a chance at being in the next round tomorrow or the day after.

congrats again to all the newly minted HLS 2013ers!

I wonder how they divide up calls and decide who goes today and who goes tomorrow, etc....this is torture!!!!!!!!!!

There were only about 30 admits today according to LSN, so I imagine that he will be very busy over the next two days as well.

Good luck to everyone who's had a JR1! This is going to be the best Thanksgiving of my life, by a long margin. Nobody in my family has ever gone to Harvard.

I imagine that it's in the order of either when our files became complete or when they started reviewing them (roughly the same order anyway, I should think).

I am in the exact same boat.

LSAT above 75th, GPA a few 100ths above the 25th from an Ivy, work experience, solid softs.

Submitted 11/1, went complete 11/19, not a peep from JR.

Not that I feel entitled to admission to Harvard, but everything I've read tells me I should at least get an interview.

I'm starting to fear that I made some egregious error on my app.

Anybody else in similar spot?

A question to all those who got their JR2s today. Did you get an email saying you got in as well? If so, when did it come, before or after the phone call.

Also, to those who missed the phone call, did JR leave a voicemail or no?

All right, lemme put this question in clearer terms. So I missed a phone call from the same number that I got the interview from. However, I did NOT, repeat did NOT, get a voicemail. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm freakin out over here...

Only a phone call, no email. The mailing will go out a week from tomorrow.

I missed the call, and he did NOT leave a voicemail--thus greatly heightening my anxiety. I thought to myself "Did he not leave one because he doesn't bother for rejections? Should I call him back or should I wait for him to call back? What time should I call him back? How should I explain why I missed his all-important call?"

To end my dithering, I flipped a coin (not joking) and it came up heads, so I called him back; he was extremely friendly.

Moral of this story: if you miss his call, call him back and don't sweat through all the possible implications of missing the call / not getting a voicemail.
