Dims my hope big time (171/S). Not much love for internationals at UChi it seems.

GPA = Superior (I'm an international applicant)
LSAT = 75th percentile

Ughhhhhhh
Similar to you, waitlisted international, but no interview - applied mid-nov, above average GPA, LSAT above the 75th. I've had completely dead air from them though, think i got UR'd once in January and that was it.
this is really surprising as it raises both LSAT median and 75% for the school. any reason why it's harder for internationals?

chicago class profile shows <10 in the entering class to be foreign nationals, and many of them very likely have US ug. so it looks possible chi takes maybe < 3 or 4 with no-gpa UG.

According to last year's 509 for Chicago, nobody without a numerical(reportable) GPA managed to get in :(
I'm sure your chances are much better at CLS though. They do seem to be much friendlier to Internationals.

I would like to dream that many did get admitted but were admitted to YHS as well and went there instead hence the 509

Even before applying, I assumed auto ding at HSCC. Didn't even bother applying to Y (& Penn). Outside chance at N. Only slightly better chance at lower t14. My subjective estimate.

Got my admissions packet in the mail yesterday (East Coast, admitted in the first wave). Nothing too unusual, no scholly info, and, as last year's thread indicated, my letter was indeed sufficiently crumpled from the voyage

I haven't actually look at what others have said. But my questions were super standard. Why law, why Chicago, why (my major), what are your strengths/weaknesses, etc.

All the questions were framed from my individual background. Like she would mention my undergrad and work experience in the prompt. And the whole line of questioning flowed really easily. Really she was a pro.

The last question was a bit of a curve ball. Something to the effect of, the presidential election was a shock to the country and has people worrying about a variety of issues, what issue do you wish people paid more attention to?

Overall not a hard interview at all. Very smooth and quick.

Just went UR2 with no interview invite yet. Does the invite usually come before the ur change or do I have till the end of the day before confirming it's a bad sign

I only went UR2 after completing my interview, but that doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad sign.

To build off this post, do interview invites come after going UR2, before UR2, or after going UR3?

My interview invite was after UR1. I went UR2 immediately following my interview (which was yesterday) and today I'm UR3.

FWIW, I got in in the first wave. I'm an American, but I have an international GPA (Superior).
