I have been eagerly checking every single day! They said early December so I am not sure why it has been taking so long. I am planning on going to the January admitted students open house and want to make plans!hammocklv06 wrote:The real challenge now is trying not to check for a login every 10 minutes...missie wrote:I'm hyped!hammocklv06 wrote:Wow hype level for this is very high.sas10 wrote:Looks like they may be opening the admitted students page. Creeped last year's thread and it looks like their ASW went live 12/15. I am also SO excited for the open house. Hoping we can get TLS'ers to unite!janderson821 wrote: I have been eagerly checking every single day! They said early December so I am not sure why it has been taking so long. You are far too helpful on here. If these law school hopefuls cant perform a 3 word google search by now, I have little hope.lymenheimer wrote:Second largest employment location: https://www.law.georgetown.edu/careers/ ... ised-2.pdfcoffee247 wrote:Does anyone know how feasible it is for Georgetown grads to land NYC jobs?

I have to balance being an asshole with being helpful. This one passed some of my smell test with certain considerations as to the variability of their meaning.doobleykah wrote: You are far too helpful on here. I'm aware of that statistic. I was admitted to Georgetown two months ago and am considering attending the open house in January but wanted more info about NY jobs first. My question was intended to be more specific: do you have to rank toward the top 20 or 25 % of the class? Are these BigLaw jobs? etc. My apologies for being vague!doobleykah wrote:You are far too helpful on here. Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
I don't think anyone here has more in depth information than ABA. You can check the NALP records and see if they list firms/offices. Following what the general spiel is, NY is a backup for most law schools that aren't in NY but have a primary market. GULC students likely target DC and when they can't, they go NY. You can do the math on the percentage of students who get biglaw and speculate as to which percentage of the class they are in.coffee247 wrote: I'm aware of that statistic. Has anyone logged onto the ASW? Hoping it can be an early indicator of admissions like in years past

For those accepted, has Georgetown released scholarship information, or was that supposed to be a part of your acceptance letter if you received it.

Re: Georgetown C/O 2019 Applicants (2015-2016)
So does Georgetown send a hype package a while after acceptance like some of the other schools do or is it just the letter?

I think an e-mail will go out soon with info about the admitted students website, with more e-mails over the next few months - not really expecting anything else to come in the mail.Cocoron wrote:So does Georgetown send a hype package a while after acceptance like some of the other schools do or is it just the letter?

Have any admitted students successfully requested a username/password from the ASW?
