If this helps anyone waiting for Priority Track: I didn't get my email until 8 at night on the 11th day.

Just to clarify, are you sure you are counting from the "complete" date and not the day you submitted (assuming they aren't the same day)?sockstcat wrote:If this helps anyone waiting for Priority Track: I didn't get my email until 8 at night on the 11th day.

Hi. Checking in. What sort of uGPA/LSAT combinations typically get invited to PT? Would gpa <25<50 LSAT =50 merit hoping to be invited? Is it important to select locations of interest in CRS for receiving fee waivers or is leaving it open ok? Thanks.
(oh and congrats to everyone already accepted and best of luck to everyone still waiting to hear)

Yep I went complete two days after I submitted and I'm counting from the date of "Priority Track Application Complete" on the checker website. It was a pretty long day on the 10th day haha.vested wrote:Just to clarify, are you sure you are counting from the "complete" date and not the day you submitted (assuming they aren't the same day)?sockstcat wrote:If this helps anyone waiting for Priority Track: I didn't get my email until 8 at night on the 11th day.

Lol at Belle Knox being on the notable alumni list when you google search Duke.

I would deff put NC in your CRS preferences - it seems to make a notable difference. I'm not entirely sure about the PT statistics though, I would think being over both medians or above one 75th would be the general criteria. They may be tracking that on the applicant spreadsheet!B102 wrote:Hi. Checking in. What sort of uGPA/LSAT combinations typically get invited to PT? Yep. I originally didn't get a PT invite, then changed my CRS to NC and got one in a few days.texasellewoods wrote:I would deff put NC in your CRS preferences - it seems to make a notable difference. Hi! I've been lurking on the thread since all my obsessive backstalking on PT invites haha and am so excited for everyone that has got in so far!! I visited this semester and just totally fell in love with Duke. Sending in my app sometime next week - just have to finalize the "Why Duke" essaybenwyatt wrote:I'm definitely tracking it in the spreadsheettexasellewoods wrote:I would deff put NC in your CRS preferences - it seems to make a notable difference. Also question - for the "Employment" section on the application, did y'all just copy your resume over or did you add activities/elaborate on the ones already on there?

Re: Duke University School of Law C/O 2019 Applicants
Whoa whoa whoa... My Duke swag has a pamphlet that says "Visit on your own: Monday-Thursday, when classes are in session." Am I misreading this or are there no (or very few) Friday classes? Is this unique to Duke?
Also there's this, which shows one 1L class being held just on three Fridays.https://law.duke.edu/admis/visit/
Apologies if I'm missing something here but the prospect of having a whole extra weekend day to study would be incredible and I thought the general rule of thumb was that 1Ls have class M-F.
