I submitted my application yesterday and it says completion pending and that it could take a couple weeks to move to complete. If it's not actually at "complete" today, am I not considered for admission since feb 27 is the deadline? Thanks

It's the deadline for you to submit, not the deadline for them to process your app

Buut their website says...
"Every effort is made to notify all applicants of their decisions by the end of April, provided that their files are completed by February 27"

Law schools tend to accept applications after their stated deadlines too, it just sort of puts you at a serious disadvantage. Although applying at the end of Feb, even before the app deadline, puts you at a disadvantage anyway. I'd just call the admissions office if I were you and ask.

I also found this little gem..."Candidates who have completed their applications by the end of December may expect to be notified by March."

Do you guys read that as before March or by the end of March?

I would normally read that as March 1st at latest.

But schools aren't really adhering to self-imposed or traditional timelines this cycle, so I'm not going to hold my breath.

Well they have one day to get to me before I assume it is end of march, although I think most would read that as by March 1st

edit: especially since they said "end of April" above it.

I applied in January and I'm still at Completion Pending, but I think they have been holding my file for February LSAT. I would just let it be, although obviously it's up to you and how worried you are.

Thanks! I just called and they said as long as you have all your materials submitted by today you're all good, and that submitted this late doesn't give you a disadvantage in the admission process.

I mean, considering that they told the held people that they'd hear back by the end of April, and that's the same deadline they gave themselves for everybody, we basically have been held without a nice e-mail.

Also just got in via email! They offered the Hamilton Fellowship directly in the acceptance letter, if that helps folks at all.

Went complete on Jan 21. LSAT: 174; GPA: 3.8.

Good luck to everybody still waiting!!!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
