How are we representing reserve on LSN? "Waitlist" or still "Pending?"

I'd say reserve = waitlist because if you're waiting on a decision off of reserve, then you accept to be on the waitlist

Just put on reserve, I am sure this has been asked but what does this exactly mean? Is it different from a wait list? and what are the chances of getting off?

It essentially is the WL, although they will review your application again and make a more 'formal' decision in the coming month or so.

Anyone else get a little blurb about applying as a transfer in their rejection e-mail?

For people on reserve: are we expecting that we'll all get final decisions in "late May"? I'm expecting a lot of WL/dings, but we should hear back either way right? Or should I expect to be on "reserve" well into the summer?

I spoke to admissions letting them know I'll be talking the June LSAT to get off reserve and they said it will be too late, the decisions will be made in May. They said the June LSAT makes no difference.

Dinged today, but the email suggested that I apply as a transfer student if Cornell is my top choice. Is this just form language they put into everyone's rejection letter, or did some people not see this?

Anyone else receive this?

Kinda curious if this was a mass email to all reserves/LOCI submits or if I'm on the fast track to a decision. Also had a status update 4/29.
When did you send a LOCI? I haven't received that email yet. I sent a LOCI on 4/29 and I got this reply email.

Hello ---, and thank you for your email. We have made note of your continued interest, and will be in contact with you with an updated decision later in the admission process. Updated transcripts and/or additional letters of recommendation should be processed through LSAC. Updates from you (resumes, letters of continued interest) may be emailed to jdadmissions@cornell.edu.

I sent a LOCI 4/28 as well and have not gotten the "we are about to begin re-review" letter. I got:
Thank you for emailing (my name). Your letter of continued interest will be added to your file.

I sent mine the second week of April. I also received the email you got upon submitting my LOCI. It took about 2 weeks after that to receive the re-review email.

I'd say give it a few weeks. If it gets close to the 2nd deposit deadline near the end of May and you haven't heard anything, you should follow up.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
