so for those of you who weren't in chat last night (or weren't there when we talked about it), who would be interested in a DC meat up (eta: in October)? PM me or smcc about it!

If we're talking dirt cheap, and you guys aren't picky, then staying in College Park is perfect, and the metro ride in is pretty easy. College Park Diner is 180 for breakfast.smccgrey wrote:Yes please do! Aha! There's my problem. I need to get me one of those husband things.smccgrey wrote: No $$!!! My husband got a new credit card with aeroplan (Air Canada) points, and it came with a free short haul flight round trip for two people. We have to use it before the end of December. LOL at having that kind of cash.

Ahh, DC trip sounds so fun. Gonna go look for cheap flights brb. I drove to DC for Christmas in college with my now husband and the trip itself was amazing, but not so sure about making the drive again.

I also enjoy cooking, but hate cleaning. Can I get one to do that for me?

Nope-- it was a generic email encouraging me to apply and visit with a fee waiver at the end.pylon wrote:Was this solicited?dasani13 wrote:Cornell fee waiver today based on being a non-URM minority.

Look for a cheap AirBnB in Columbia Heights or Eastern Market! Not cheap neighborhoods (anymoresmccgrey wrote:Yes please do! If you have to stay outside the district, I would go for Silver Spring over College Park, personally.
Won't be in D.C. anymore but happy to offer suggestions for delicious food or places to hang out.
