Does Berkeley send out wait list/ding decisions before, at the time of, or after updating status checkers? Are admission decisions sent in simultaneous waves or sporadically throughout such days? Tyia

I truly think that mid-T14 schools know how thin the applicant pool is going to be this cycle, and they are aggressively yield protecting so that they don't get caught with a bunch of 170-2 admits that bail on them for the T6.

Rejected off of FR. 178/3.5ish. Pretty bummed since Berkeley was one of my top choices. California's hatred for me continues on from undergrad apps.

Could be. UM is a YP school, so I wouldn't freak out about it. Berkeley is Berkeley, and they do their own thing. No reason to get distraught over those two decisions.

I thought I can be expecting some good $$ from these schools but now I'm dinged by Berkeley and Michigan and got WLed from Duke.
