Thank you Yale for not dinging me on sight!

+1

Went complete in early Feb. Guess i'm not autoadmit/autoding.

BTW, some of my UG profs were REALLY fast at grading essays!

Don't worry. When we all get in we can just celebrate together, regardless of not being autoadmit.

I'm looking at you too, MW!

I added my Yale app to my lsn profile. People are probably really confused about my choice of schools.

I submitted late Feb, and I seriously doubt I'll hear back before mid-April. But that won't stop me from obsessing about it every day until then.
This seems like the TCR, except possibly for autoadmit/autoreject.

Think of your undergrad professors and how slow they were at grading essays.
Thanks. I really wish I submitted earlier :? - there's a possibility of a short-fuse scholarship coming in early April and it'd be really helpful to know where I stood with my Yale Mary... :|

Exploding offers do not require you to withdraw at schools from which you have not had final decisions. You only have to withdraw from schools at which you've been accepted.

I can't remember where, but I believe I recently read something about the legality of exploding offers.... basically, they're not (legal). If you read the fine print, the ABA allows schools to require a non-refundable down-payment to accept an offer, but they cannot pressure you to make your decisions early.... I think. I don't have any on the horizon, and I can't recall exactly what I read... but it is certainly worth looking into (I may be grossly misrepresenting this).

It makes as much sense as the admissions process. Waiting for YLS is like waiting for Godot.

Looool that's realer than the root of -1 squared.

*insert apt gif here* (I curate pikachu gifs from tumblr but I'll spare this board the pain.)

In other news, my friend guessed all but two oscars correctly and was like she should send that in as an addendum
