I believe the acceptance update time was being questioned, as opposed to the regular update.GreatExpectations wrote:albs18 wrote:Congrats to all the admits!
Did you status checker update first thing in the morning (i.e. the automatic date change that happens on the daily) or did it happen later in the day?
I could be wrong, but I thought that the update only happened once a day in the morning?

Yeah. Acceptances made one day show up in the daily update the following morning.JustHawkin wrote:I believe the acceptance update time was being questioned, as opposed to the regular update.GreatExpectations wrote:albs18 wrote:Congrats to all the admits!

In! Typical splitter--GPA below 25th and LSAT above 75th. Submitted mid November. Sorry if this has been discussed before, but any word on how soon scholarship decisions are made after admission? Or should we be able to see this already on the ASW?
Congrats to everyone, and for those still holding vigil by the status checker, hang in there!

I don't know, I might disagree with this - it keeps them in the loop which is only ever good. That said, it IS a pretty marginal difference (although congrats on pulling up your GPA!!midwest17 wrote:Their 75th is 3.82, isn't it? Has anyone sent in their fall semester grades? I sent mine but I'm not sure if the committee will get them before they make a decision on my application (Applied around November 20th, complete since mid-December). I'm kind of nervous because my grades pushed my GPA up from 3.85 to 3.87, which would put me in the 75% range. With an LSAT that is slightly below the median, I'm hoping the extra points will put me in a better position to be admitted.
I guess my question is, should I call up the admissions council to let them know about my incoming grades or leave it be?

I mean, they'll get the update from LSAC. I'm just not sure it's worth possibly annoying them to let them know about a .02 GPA increase that doesn't cross a boundary a few weeks earlier. But maybe I'm being excessively cautious.alex.cm wrote:I don't know, I might disagree with this - it keeps them in the loop which is only ever good. Fair enough. I mean, realistically we're all clueless 0Ls who're speculating wildly.midwest17 wrote: I mean, they'll get the update from LSAC. Re: Michigan Applicants C/O 2017 (Applicants 2013-2014)
Darn it. I just got snail mail offering 105k. That's good news but that means I won't be getting a Darrow invite. My numbers hug yls's medians and I saw a few other posters with similar numbers get invites. It's not that big of a deal because I have other options. But I can get about the same amount in needbased aid from the HYS I was accepted to.
This is making me think that something is wrong with my app and this doesn't bode well for ccn $$. No why Michigan but I did write a DS and 1 or 2 optionals.

Psst. Just a gentle suggestion to take this discussion to the Michigan C/O 2017 thread here, as there are many people in this thread who are anxiously awaiting a mere at-sticker acceptance (or even WL).TakeABow94 wrote:Darn it. Thanks for the responses! I'm probably going to leave it be and if I get WL'd, I'll include it as part of my LOCI/call to the admissions office. Fingers crossed for now.midwest17 wrote:I mean, they'll get the update from LSAC.
