Re: UIUC 2015
How do we go about getting football tickets? I've heard that we can buy season tickets, but how do we buy multiple tickets? Say I have like 2 friends visiting, or whatever, how do I get ahold of more tickets? At the asd, someone mentioned something about trading with other law students?

Re: UIUC 2015
You can buy season tickets through the athletic department and if you need more there are always plenty available on the secondary markets (stubhub, craigslist, random list servs, etc). It won't be a problem!

Thanks for the advice on housing information! As a side note, if anyone is looking for a roommate, I am also looking. No idea at the moment where to live, but I'm a 22 male who is very clean and loves to cook.
In addition, thanks for posting about negotiating scholarships. Just got raised from $5k to 25% thanks to you all. For sure going to Illinois this fall.

Congrats! It's posts like these that remind me TLS isn't a complete cesspool of negativity and arrogance.jtyrrell734 wrote:Thanks for the advice on housing information! Congrats! I know I'm jumping to a big conclusion, but looking at LSN, and your recent success, it seems like Illinois could be in the position to have a 167 median next year. I know that the 300 people who registered on lsn only account for a small percentage of applicants...but hey, it could happen.jtyrrell734 wrote:Thanks for the advice on housing information! Welp, I'm committed. Go Illini! unless they're playing my undergrad.
Looking for housing now, probably in one of the previous suggestions. Hopefully I can pull off a nice 2bdrm for around or less than $800/mo. Any suggestions beyond that last list? I'll need a June move-in, which complicates things.

Also, is there a post in the TLS C/O 2015 section for UIUC?

Re: UIUC 2015
Not to say that we need a thread in every section of TLS, but it turns out there is a c/o2015 thread, which I've bumped up. I'd assume that this one will eventually fade out once the cycle is over and be replaced by the 2016 cycle's thread.
So this'll be the permanent home for those of us who've made our decision:

I created one about a month ago but only one person has posted in it. Looks like everyone has been posting here instead. Feel free to take a look, it's a lonely page!nshapkar wrote:tmon wrote:Also, is there a post in the TLS C/O 2015 section for UIUC?

Accepted with half tuition. Very excited. Anyone looking at the student housing forum? Anyone looking for roommates?

The list of good/bad housing companies and communities has definitely been useful.DoctorShawHi wrote:Accepted with half tuition. Very excited. Anyone looking at the student housing forum? Anyone looking for roommates?
