So when does Cornell have to get back to EA applicants? Whatever it was I read briefly just said that it is non-binding and that they get back to you in December. Is that correct? So vague!

Yeah mid-december. But for those who aren't accepted they will mostly defer to RD.Campagnolo wrote:So when does Cornell have to get back to EA applicants? Whatever it was I read briefly just said that it is non-binding and that they get back to you in December. Is that correct? So vague!

So essentially, it doesn't mean a thing. They could let you in, they could ding you, and they could decide to continue considering you.minnbills wrote:Yeah mid-december. I recognize the sentiment, but Duke's Priority Track at least has meaning. Priority Track is bangarang.Strange wrote:Cant expect much out of a non binding agreementCampagnolo wrote:So essentially, it doesn't mean a thing. I just wish they had ED.

so there's no one else that has had their status checker change BACK to a previous complete date? i'm wondering WTF that means.
i went 11/29 -> 12/6 -> 11/29
makes me think i was in the 12/6 admit group but then they changed their minds

Are your numbers borderline? If it makes you feel any better, I know someone at Cornell now as a 1L who was beneath both medians (but above the 25%) and who was admitted in April after not hearing for months and months.minnbills wrote:I just wish they had ED.
As much as some here say numbers is everything, I'm starting to think every school's admissions process is a black box.
Except for Columbia, those LSAT snobs.

Median LSAT, below 25th GPA. And yeah that definitely makes me feel better.Campagnolo wrote:Are your numbers borderline? Cornell is my dream school, I'm actually prepared to wait another cycle if I don't get it.
