From LSN last year, it looks like Penn released decisions every Friday like clockwork starting the first week of January. If the same is true this year, we should see a big wave of acceptances and WL's starting this Friday.

Updated to UCR 1/3/2012 today! Submitted in September and had my first UCR 11/28.

But I went from 12/22-1/3. My UChi and Upenn status checkers have been moving exactly in tandem, weird.

I've been "Complete" without any URW since 11/22. I'm worried that this doesn't augur well for me.

My 1st UR was on the 21... But if I recall.. The September/ early October applicants are the ones just getting the 2nd UR date

So far the timing and number of UR dates hasn't been predictive of decisions at all, so I wouldn't worry too much about them.

Sorry, I should have given more info before starting all the spec. I submitted 11/2 and sat at complete from 11/7-12/22.

Second UCR update on 12/8, nothing since. I'm considering sending a LOCI today, but I'm pretty sure it won't prevent the WL. What do you guys think?

why would you send a LOCI when there has been no decision yet? I would think that would just piss them off.

I'm in the same boat. I had a second UCR update on 12/9 but have heard nothing since. I'm guessing it's a WL.

Haha I have a second update and I was under the impression that it was a bad thing.

Updates mean nothing, seriously. Save yourselves the agony. So far people with 2 updates and 1 update have gotten in.
