I sent in a competing offer about a month ago and haven't heard back yet.

Have you checked your online financial aid counselor? They responded to my "negotiation" correspondence just by changing my award. In other words, they never actually sent an email or anything notifying me of an update.

they apparently aren't interested in mine. After asking if they had had a chance to reconsider mine, they wrote "we have added your updates to your file." when I had already gotten an confirmation a month earlier that my award letters had been added to the file...

too bad, i would definitely have considered them with more money.

Huh, no dice. Nothing changed in my evaluation--thanks for letting me know about that though.

also, I did end up getting notification today, several days after getting an update on the counselor.

Does anyone know if there is a specific form that we need to attach when sending our tax forms? Do we just send it to the finaid office? I know the deadline was last week but it completely slipped my mind.. eek

There is a specific form -- go to the checklist part of the finaid website where your money info is. The form is mentioned somewhere in that checklist of stuff.

I didn't realize there was a form and just sent it...didn't matter though
