During the first few rounds, didn't they make a lot of calls late afternoon? Or maybe they're breaking up each UR date into two days- as in, 12/23 is getting decisions today and Monday, 1/3 Tuesday and Wednesday, 1/5 Thursday and Friday? I'm choosing to be optimistic.

Just got the ding e-mail.

I applied last year in mid January and got WLed. This year, I applied on 10/1 (with better recs, promotion, better personal statement) and got dinged. I guess they must have assumed I am not coming or not worthy of admission since I didn't get into their MBA program.

Oh well, good luck to other applicants!

Sorry to hear that. I am surprised I haven't heard back yet since I also got dinged by Wharton. Expecting WL at best.

I would say 12/30 included with the end of the 12/23ers on Monday.

WL just now via email. 12/23 2nd UCR date. Anyone know how often people get off the waitlist?

Thanks dude. I'd write them an LOCI if you still want to attend Penn. I e-mailed them on Wednesday night, but I guess that didn't work for me. They probably made a decision on 12/15 so whatever I sent in after probably didn't matter. I guess I'll start snooping in UChicago and Columbia thread for some miracle.
