I wouldn't say scared. Just realistic about the possibility, and prepared.

I've recently found myself loving Islay Scotch whiskies after I received a bottle of Laphroaig for my birthday. Of course, I can always turn to my good friend, the gin martini.

+1 on the Macallan. Or any of the Glen's.

I haven't gotten into any of the Islay Scotches yet, but I may have to try.

As for gin... Bleck. Tastes like pine needles.



Summary of things Chris drinks:
1. Scotch, neat (Macallan 18 preferred, J&B if I'm feeling poor)
2. Bourbon, rocks (Makers preferred, but typically get Jim Beam)
3. Beer (bud/bud light/mich golden for drinking games, marathon drinking, when I'm driving, any other time it depends on my mood... But usually dark beers.)
4. Vodka w/ water and lime, for when wells are the special

I'll stray from that list from time to time, but not often.

How did RA positions turn out and did more than half of the new grads find employment yet?

is there any info on parking passes? It seems like this years packets for orientation etc are super slow / late etc / this entire thread is sitting on their hands.

I am a resident, but everybody that I know that is out of state got an RA position without a problem.

I can't really speak to new grads, because I don't know many of them personally. I can say that summer positions for my class didn't seem to be too much of a problem. Our OCI list isn't terribly rosy though.
