It's easy as long as you have all the info you need. I think the FAFSA requires bank/investments info, too.

If you own, you have to figure out the market value of your home too, right? Can you go with the property-tax-assessed value or do you have to look for recent sales?r6_philly wrote:yes, and maybe your parents'. Re: Berkeley 2011 applicants
I don't remember the FAFSA asking about primary resident as asset. I do remember NeedAccess asking about this. You can't use assessed value unless your locality uses market price without discounting. ITE unless you bought it long ago or inherited it, you probably don't have enough equity to make a difference anyway.sarahh wrote:

There has been VERY little movement this month. I am getting a feeling we will see a majority in January

But January is a year away! Maybe they just wanted to give everyone their presents as close to Christmas as possible...

Most UC campuses are open next Monday-Thursday, so I'm guessing we'll see a large number of acceptances before Christmas.

So,
Why did you all decide to apply to Berkeley. Being form the Mid-West, Berkeley to me seems like a school only for California people.
What drew all of you non-Cali people to apply to Berkeley?

Cal grad here. Great location, great school, great (maybe good?) legal market.s0ph1e2007 wrote:So,

Your question was kind of broad, to be fair...s0ph1e2007 wrote:It's nice to hear it's great... but that's not a lot of information to go on...BackToTheOldHouse wrote:Cal grad here. Great location, great school, great (maybe good?) legal market.s0ph1e2007 wrote:So,

I applied mainly for the same reasons as BTTOH: the bay Area is chill. Boalt seems like a chill place to study law for three years. Ergo, application sent.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
