Yeah, I'm convinced McShay really doesn't know what he's talking about. Mayock is legit, for sure.twairlines wrote:Berman is the F'n Man...Also, I like to watch both ESPN and NFL Network just so I can listen to Mike Mayock. Mayock always seems to be outdone in coverage by the feuding McShay and Kiper, but he definitely knows his shit. Yeah if I am able to put together a cohesive sentence come that Thursday night, then I must have done something wrong...here's to getting fucked up and yelling at the TV if my team doesn't draft a QB!!!
I'm a Bengals fan. I'm hoping they go DL then QB in the 2nd.. Christian Ponder? Andy Dalton? I will get up from my couch and jump off my 11th-story balcony if they draft Cam Newton with that 4th pick.

Nice, I'm Vikes fan, so at least we can relate on not knowing the feeling of celebrating a SB win. I'm hoping for Locker for my guys in the 1st. Yea, I feel you on Newton...I'd probably do the same. Dalton would be a good pickup for the Bengals, a real good fit with his size. Dude is mad smart...isn't he in law school as well? Kinda like that kid from Notre Dame.

Oh the whole TJack joke routine...I see how you want to play. Haha, yeah Webb is alright for how raw he is, but I hope (can't believe I'm saying this) that the hype this week about McNabb and Minnesota bound to happen actually plays out. But, then again I'm willing to take any QB that can hopefully avoid Suh. He's a monster....literally. I think Mallet at the end of the first round would be a great pick up for either the vikings or the bengals, if they can trade up to the end of the 1st round. He's a stud that just needs to get his shit together, worth the risk IMO. Although Mallet would be great for the vikings, I am really hoping they decide to stick with Tavaris Jackson or joe Webb for next, I think would work out really well for the lions.

yep. I wonder if they're going to hand out any deferred acceptances. I don't think they are going to deny me because my numbers are strong, my application is solid and I'm a resident, but I wouldn't be surprised getting something that says: "We like you, but we're full, so we'll offer a spot in the class of 2015." can anyone foresee this as at all likely?cmu2011 wrote:anyone still waiting to hear from the school?

I really want them to take a CB. I think if Prince falls down to 13 that the lions would snatch him up pretty quick, if not, I would love for them to trade down or draft a OT.twairlines wrote:Oh the whole TJack joke routine...I see how you want to play. Re: IU Bloomington Class of 2014
Teams are built from the inside out... as long as our line play it weak, it'll part hard to get the offense going... or keep Stafford on his feet. They're not flashy, but most games are won in the trenches. Just look what Suh did for our defense... or what guys like Jake Long or Joe Thomas have done for their team's offenses. (Yeah, I know not all-time offenses, but check what they did before those guys came aboard... even worse).beidoun wrote:I really want them to take a CB. So yeah... the Lions desperately need a CB, but more than that, we need someone to keep our franchise QB from getting killed every snap. Give me a pouncey or a solder...

Well, it's cause they have enough high lsats and need high gpas, and your gpa would be below median... Surprised they didn't offer a deferred admission and guaranteed full ride for next year though... Theyll prob want to get a 167 median next year.twairlines wrote:What...and what?? If Prince falls that far I'd be stunned. I agree with danquayle...an OL is almost deemed necessary. Hopefully an OT to be exact; in that instance, Jared Allen will be able to have a field day making a rookie his bitch.beidoun wrote:

JK...actually don't mind the Lions, I hate the Packturds tho.

Re: IU Bloomington Class of 2014
Yeah, I agree that the OL is the most important aspect of building a winning foundation but I do not think the Lions are that weak on the OL. Last year they were top 5 in sacks allowed and were also top 5 in pass attempts, stats that should be inversely related. I would have no problem with them going OL or DL but I can hope for Prince falling to 13.twairlines wrote:If Prince falls that far I'd be stunned. Packers and the Bears are evil. The Bears fans are the worst fans to deal with. They fill up Ford Field when the bears play the lions and they are terrible to deal with.
