Re: Cardozo 2010
Hey gang so I've also been under review since the 1st week of march (i applied late [3/1]). And after I applied I got a fee waiver. My numbers are pretty cruddy (2.84/162). But I know people with the same numbers who applied after me and were put on the WL already. I think that if Dozo wanted to reject me they'd have no issues doing so. Anyone know what I should think about not having a decision yet when people with similar or exact numbers who applied after me have heard back? I honestly could care less about scholly $ and I'm not expecting any but Cardozo is my #1 choice if I get in and I really will feel let down if I dont. Also does anyone know if after this much time it's okay to send a LOCI if you haven't heard anything from them? Thanks!

Ditto that. Got the same status change and the hold e-mail on 4/19. No change since. The e-mail said they probably wouldn't make a decision until early June.badpixie wrote:Not sure. Re: Cardozo 2010
Still nothing. I know five to six weeks of being under review isn't long, but it's after they accepted the first round of deposits. I've been under review at schools and received decisions in less than two weeks, so I'm convinced of one of two things: Either they are examining whatever is left in some sort of special order, like highest LSAT scores first, which means they haven't gotten to me yet, or they are legitimately debating whether to accept me after taking a look at my file.
What else could it be? I know it's a long shot for me to get into this school, but if they wanted to reject me, wouldn't they have done it already? Are they that back up in regards to examining applications?

The second deposit deadline is May 28, so an early June response makes sense or at least seems to fit in with their admissions time line.barracudasix wrote:Ditto that. I'm starting to think they really are that backed up. I went complete at the beginning of Feb. and still no word yet. I'm going to e-mail them.b.j. wrote:Still nothing. So PT classes start in about 3 weeks and my file is still pending! This is so frustrating why won't they hurry and give an answer? I called today and my file is still under review. Anyone heard anything from them this week?

Re: Cardozo 2010
ugh SO frustrating! What's the point of them even sending out waitlist letter when orientation is 3 weeks away? Are they still waiting on deposits for those who have already been accepted?

They waitlisted you today? Was it updated on the statuschecker or did you get an email?

After sending e-mail yesterday, I was waitlisted today via e-mail. I will be withdrawing. There is NO reason at all they should have taken this long. I think it's kinda unprofessional.....

I sent an e-mail a couple of weeks ago and was told to use the status checker. That was after I called and had someone tell me that nothing is revealed over the phone.NervousInKC wrote:After sending e-mail yesterday, I was waitlisted today via e-mail. I will be withdrawing. I am honestly not sure what to think. Have they even looked at it? If not, why not? How can they still be that backed up? How large was the increase in application that almost a month after the first deposit was (probably) due, they still aren't done?

After I got rejected from Fordham full time I just called Dozo and moved my app over to PT. the officers were really helpful with everything and told me it will be competitive but they "have a holistic process" for their applicants which is why it take them so long to process them. Does anyone know if there's a forum for just the may start people?

You did this recently or a couple of months ago? I already put a deposit at Hofstra FT.
Here's what I'd like to know more than anything: are they legitimately reviewing my application, or have they not even started? If it's the former, then maybe I do have a shot. (Probably not, but stranger things have happened, right?) But if it's the former, then I am not sure what to think.
