just spoke with my 1L HLS friend who said JR2s definitely go out (or have gone out in the past) on consecutive pre-thanksgiving days, if you don't hear today there's a good chance you'll hear tomorrow or wed.

edit -- realized this was unclear, meant specifically that people with the equivalent of your Thurs/Fri JR1s have heard before Thanksgiving in past years. don't know if it's *everyone* who had late JR1s but it's definitely in the realm of possibility.

yeah. I have this compulsion to click on it when I see there are new posts, but every new JR1 or JR2 makes a little piece of me die. People who submitted after me got in. People who have worse numbers than me got in. I've been under review forever and now complete for a week. I think there is basically no chance of me getting into harvard at this point but I keep clicking on this thread. I don't know why.

Yes. I agree. Mine was like late Friday afternoon so I'm slightly incredulous that I could hear something this week but also scared out of my mind about what it might mean if I DON'T hear something this week.

I have lowered my expectations to the point that I am going to gruffly and rudely answer any non-local area-code call with a "What do you want, I'm busy!" on the certainty that I am NOT going to get a JR1. This is helping with the depression. Then again, the psychotic sees nothing illogical about the psychosis...
