Does anyone know how much movement has occurred on UF's waitlists in past years? I haven't gotten a decision yet (damn "decision pending" status), but I am really hoping for a waitlist.

Can anyone confirm that all the acceptances have been extended for 2009? I am still decision pending, but I guess this means I only have to look forward to a waitlist or rejection?

Although i'm pretty sure there's no hope to be had when they're already sending out letters saying there's no more acceptances...I think it's pretty crappy that they send letters like that before everyone has gotten their decisions,but oh well I guess.

Me too..and it sucks to have to hope for the waitlist

. Their system confuses the hell outta me. I mean,apparently we don't even deserve to be informed either way.

dude, i just got back in town from another schools asw and have just looked at my mail. i recieved an acceptance letter today, so be hopeful. its dated march 18th. to make it even weirder, i completed my application before thanksgiving.

I got my waitlist today, dated on 3/20...status update online was 3/20. It doesnt look like they waitlisted very many people on LSN. Any thoughts on this?

Not really that dissapointed since I was already accepted to Cardozo and would much rather get out of Florida...even though the money I'd be saving would have been nice...

It came yesterday...checked my mail today. Sorry should have specified. Maybe I just assumed the smart people on this forum would have concluded that I didnt check my mail yesterday.

Ahhh understandable. No I think the only this that UFL send via email are those damn "Prospectus student updates" that automatically go to my inbox. Who knows....maybe they'll send the waitlist acceptances via email. It said in the letter they would let us know the second a spot becomes available.

Are we thinking the 3/20 batch will be all waitlists? A mix of Waitlists and Rejections? Or a mix of Waitlists, Rejections and Acceptances?

I know everyone has been talking about it but I just thought I would let everyone know that my status checker changed to decision in transit on 3/18 and I received my acceptance yesterday (3/21). I was kind of shocked but very thankful. I also am kind of ready to get out of gainesville (I'm in UG here now) not because I don't like it here but just feel like 7 years is a long time to spend in a college town.

I will most likely stay though because its hard to beat 10k a year. I have a 3.7 and 156 (low but I have good softs)

I received my acceptance packet on Friday and just tried to pay my seat deposit online. Getting the "name and lsac id do not match" error message. Hmm...

i've been getting the same error message when i try to reserve my seat online.
i have resolved to print the form and mail it with a check/money order in the morning.
