It seems ED2 won't be out today....usually they tweet "DecisionThursday/Friday" at around 8AM-ish on the day of decisions. Nothing on their twitter account yet and it is already 10AM.
Will we hear back this week?

They've tweeted around 8:00am? There was definitely one announced around 11:30 this year and another around 2 if I recall. I know there was also a wave announced in the morning, but I wouldn't say we should throw in the towel today just yet.pipipipi wrote:+1TudoBem wrote:Dear PENN LAW, let me in, I'll make you proud.

During my interview I did ask and was told that I'd hear back this week, but come to think of it, she could easily have meant next Mon. or Tues.

Most of the waves have been announced on twitter around 11:00-11:30am EST. The ED1 announcement was made around 2:30pm EST, probably because they have fewer calls to make for early decision only waves.pipipipi wrote:+1TudoBem wrote:Dear PENN LAW, let me in, I'll make you proud.

Thanks for the info. Maybe it is time-zone difference; I went back to their twitter account and checked the post-time of the most recent 10 posts. Not sure if twitter records the time at the poster's timezone or not, but all the time I am reading are a few hours ahead of what you described. I live in a different time-zone and had my twitter account set to unknown places maybe, so it is mostly likely you are right.JoshLyman13 wrote:Most of the waves have been announced on twitter around 11:00-11:30am EST. Around what time do y'all plan to throw in the towel today?
Let me know. I've got a bottle of pinot noir at home just waiting for me to pop its cork.
That's oddly sensual.
Goodbye.

Got an email from Penn Law Admissions and my heart stopped.
It was a reminder about Saturday's information session.
I'm dead on the inside

Okay I'm confused. Penn's financial aid stuff says to file your FAFSA as soon after filing your 2016 taxes but before the deadline as possible. I'm trying to adult responsibly, so my taxes are already filed. HOWEVER, I just filled out the FAFSA a couple of days ago and it only asked for 2015 information, not 2016. Anyone have a good explanation for me?

You filed already? You don't expect any 1099's or anything?Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Okay I'm confused. you're definitely good to go based on that; I just got the paperwork together to file for 2016 but I used 2015 data for my FAFSA, CSS Profile, etc. I think you need only provide 2015 for now.Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Nope already had my W2 and 1098Es so I was good to go (I think?)CPA-->JD wrote:You filed already? A day may come when the courage of Penn Applicants fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we WAIT!

Is there a separate application directly to Penn for financial aid?Anon.y.mousse. wrote:Okay I'm confused. I was held ED 1. I just recently sent a 4th LOR and another optional essay. By now PENN LAW got 3 optional essays and 4 LORs, in addition to my PS.
Should I send the 4th optional essay now, or wait in case I get WL and send it with a LOCI at the time?
Any thoughts?

Hi guys. Got a request for interview from Penn.
Not sure whether this is a good sign or bad sign. (it is really rare for Penn to request interview?) Could anyone share some experience in the interview? Thank you!!!

Sounds like way too much. Would definitely not send the 4th essay.TudoBem wrote:I was held ED 1. I just recently sent a 4th LOR and another optional essay. By now PENN LAW got 3 optional essays and 4 LORs, in addition to my PS.
