Yeah, they have sent out rejections (LSN), not sure about waitlist spots though.

I seriously didn't consider Mich at ALL until I started getting their mailings and emails. Now, I really like the vibe. I hope I like it in person, too, since they're the only school I know I have a good scholarship to

That's super real. Are you going to ASW? I want to see if the school is as charming as their propaganda

FWIW, I drove up for an afternoon in mid-January and it's prettttty charming. I'm used to horrible winters so the cold wind that day was only slightly off-putting, and completely ignorable once inside their ridiculous castle of a law school. Ann Arbor definitely feels like a college town though, so how you feel about that is up to the individual.

I'm a tiny bit ashamed to admit that the castle feel of UM Law may have been a (small) factor in me deciding to got to law school. I went to UM for undergrad and still live here. Can confirm law campus looks like Hogwarts and A2 is very much a college town.

For those who interviewed for the Darrow, how did you hear back? Phone call? E-mail? Post?

They called me to offer the scholarship just now. Not sure if they'd send a rejection via email.

Congrats! I recall seeing a post on this thread from somebody who interviewed and did not get the offer, so it sounds like they do notify either way. I interviewed a little over two weeks ago and am still waiting to hear, so I was curious just to make sure I hadn't missed anything.

Lol pretty sure their rejections typically come with some other form of scholarship, which I would presume would be via email. Unlikely to go from Darrow interview to sticker

Does anyone know if they ever interview others for Darrows later on, assuming some people don't take them? Or do they just end up with the amount of Darrows from the original pool who choose to accept?

Dean Z mentioned when she called that they had some delays getting interview recordings to the Darrow committee.

Ya, dollar wise, I think there's only like 50k difference if I had received the Darrow. I interviewed around the 18th I believe.

I think so? I'm a splitter so I wasn't expecting anything! Super grateful.

The email does reiterate the language about how they don't negotiate based on other schools' offers though, in case anyone was wondering. I forget...what was the consensus on whether that was true historically?

Just received the scholarship email, $120,000! I received 135,000 from UVA and I was hoping to use that to negotiate with Michigan. Is it true Michigan doesn't negotiate after giving out a Dean's scholarship (that's what they say in the email)?

I was admitted in November, and I still have not received scholarship info....

Same - early November too. Hopefully we'll hear tomorrow or this week either way, since the timeline was end of January
