I'm like 65% sure my Mailings box has gotten slightly bigger since I checked a few days ago.

I understand people are anxious, but I don't understand people trying to draw conclusions from this mailings box lol.

Did you interview? If so, when and was it a group or alum?

Yeah I interviewed. They first contacted me for a group interview but had to change the date and I couldn't go on the changed date. So they contacted me later for another group interview and they had to change the date again, and I couldn't do that either. About a month after that they set me up with an alumna and I was accepted about a week after that interview.

Applied 11/18, went Complete 11/19, haven't heard a word since - not even an interview request (although I am in Mississippi so there might not be any alums in my region).

Does that long a wait to hear anything mean WL/Ding?

I don't think that necessarily counts as a long wait. I applied about a week before you and got my acceptance letter about a week ago, no interview, so I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

Got Preferred Waitlisted on Friday.

Yes, I did a group interview. I'm a reverse splitter so I was happy to even get preferred status, not that it means that much.

When was your group interview? How long did it take for you to hear back?

My interview was in mid October so two months

Whaat, that's so long. For my interview they specified we'd hear back in 2 weeks, did they do that for you?

No, but it's probably just because my interview was early on

I picked it up Saturday, but it's hard to tell when the actual sent date was because I'm in Alaska.

Seems like gulc was cranking out decisions until a week ago. it's been pretty quiet since the waitlist/holds went out. Not alotta folks ITT getting letters over the weekend. I interviewed 11/17 and haven't heard anything since.

I'm not sure we can really conclude that the pace of acceptances has slowed.

So if the two-week rule after interviews is holding roughly true, what happens for those of us who are visiting relatives for Christmas? Do we just have to wait for next semester to check our mail, or is there an email/indicator on the status checker?
