I'm in and had 3. Seems like an LSAC mistake.ProductofUnreality wrote:For whatever it's worth I interviewed already and only had 2 LoRs.hopefuljumbo23 wrote:Omg mine says that too. What is missing?heynowheynow wrote:My LSAC account currently sayshopefuljumbo23 wrote:Nope, just two. You scared me half to death so I went and double checked lol.heynowheynow wrote:Did Cornell require more than 2 LOR? I am getting an odd notification in my LSAC account right now.
"Required:
2 LORs and 0 Evaluations
2 additional documents which can be either LORs or Evaluations (Pay attention to accepted numbers).
Total required: 4
Accepted:
up to 4 LORs and/or 2 Evaluations
Total accepted cannot exceed: 6"
Interesting.
Edited to add: I reread the Cornell law admissions website. I think LSAC is mistaken because the law admissions website explicitly says that evaluations are optional. And it says they only need 2 letters of rec.
I'll call LSAC tomorrow (they might be closed because it's a holiday) or the day after and let you know what they say.
Meanwhile, Cornell has my CAS report because my application has already been marked complete and under review.
Really hoping this is nothing but an error.

Also in with only 2. Seems like a clerical error.

I just checked my LSAC account and I have the same error message but I've been accepted so I think it's nothing to worry about.

No means an expert, but I'd assume virtually no difference, especially considering that both resulted in the same outcome.letmegotolawschool wrote:guys,

Maybe they'll give you an interview later on if you didn't get one earlier? Seems like that happened to some people ITT.ls2k16 wrote:No means an expert, but I'd assume virtually no difference, especially considering that both resulted in the same outcome.letmegotolawschool wrote:guys,

Checking in! Got in Feb.9th! Paid my deposit already.
Interview request Jan.19th, Interview completed on Jan.28th.
Got one question though:
For merit-based scholarships, I don't need to mail anything other than the scholarship application form, correct? Most other schools considers merit-based scholly automatically so I don't know what else I need to do in this case.
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I just drove to work with my heater on full blast and it is only in the 50s where I live now.. I've never been in weather below 0. How does anyone survive in such deplorable conditions?proteinshake wrote:It's -4 in Ithaca right now. have no clue how I'm gonna be able to bear the weather if I end up here.

I lived in Upstate New York for many years. One day, it was so cold that my Powerade froze on my way to class (around a 10 minute walk). I guess the good thing is you don't need a refrigerator...skimmilk wrote:I just drove to work with my heater on full blast and it is only in the 50s where I live now.. So big red book says they start giving our merit $$ as early as today. I was a bit confused by the instructions. Do we need to fill out anything to be considered for merit aid, or are all those forms just for needbased aid?

It appears that the Scholarship form has a box that you mark for merit-based aid. So it would seem that it is necessary, however no other school appears to require this for consideration so maybe it is not necessary.WhiteHouse wrote:So big red book says they start giving our merit $$ as early as today. Anyone know how we are supposed to submit our tax returns to them? It says to fax the scholarship form, but makes no mention of how to send our tax returns to them. Also I'm assuming we only have to send our taxes for need-based aid?

Oh no, I know I had a lot of issues with Need Access, but Cornell's website and check list states you have to send the office your actual forms as well.. I'm just not sure why that's necessary or how we should go about sending them.WhiteHouse wrote:That need-access website has tax return information. Did anyone else receive a waiver and deadline extension ? Formal deadline was Feb 1. and I was contacted via email to extend this date saying my credentials looked "promising". Should I take this lightly...I mean Is this just a way to increase applicant number for rankings or....

To those that got Scholarship offers, did you submit the scholarship form already? Or were the offers made without it?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
