Now that everything is pretty much over, what are your thoughts on Stanford Law?

Umm, it's the best fucking school in the entire goddamned world. I will be there this fall and am personally just grateful that I get to post in the C/O 2019 thread, where we actually have a real OP in fliptrip. Eat caca and die, Dcc617. Your parents hate you.

It's chill bro, but I was already set on Harvard or Yale anyway. I got my shades on to block out all that shade from CA. Enjoy the earthquakes, hippies.

I personally can't stand Stanford, its administration, and especially its admissions office. I waited patiently for 4-7 months only to get waitlisted or rejected less than a week before May. Seriously, go home Stanford, you're drunk (unless you accept me off the waitlist, then I will love you)

Meh, I mean, this was a total long shot for me. I just wanted to see what would happen. This is what I thought would happen.

I'm totally indifferent to Stanford, because I am super happy with the option I am going with. Grow up, Dcc617. You're embarrassing yourself with this poll.

I will be Seymour Asses from Futurama, and Stanford is my Fry. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS? I WILL FUCKING DIE ON THE WAITLIST!

I am a lurker. I may not have even applied anywhere this cycle. My motives for lurking this thread are entirely inscrutable and apparently I have nothing better to do with my life.

Dcc617, stop making every other poll option about yourself. While you are very handsome, your constant narcissism and self-indulgence has become off-putting.

Checking the box to retain your place on the wait list is not a commitment to attend if accepted right? Can I stay on the wait list and then not change my mind if they eventually get back to me?

As far as I understand, this is correct. However, it's generally seen as good form to only stay on waitlists that you would actually accept if given an offer.

I think SLS recommends that you file all financial information (FAFSA and the other need based app) to SLS as if you were admitted, and Dean Faye tries to give you a quick turnaround in between admission and financial aid information.

Anybody know what time of day admission calls usually go out? Not that I'm expecting one but I have a deposit deadline tomorrow and want to play it safe just in case.

This cycle they seem to have occurred in early afternoon EST / late morning PST. There doesn't seem to have been many calls in the evenings. Though anything is possible, it is SLS.

To add to Pterodactyl's comment, the WL form this year asks applicants to list the phone number at which they can be reached during daytime hours in the event they are offered a spot. Dean Deal doesn't seem to be a fan of 11pm admit calls on Saturday night.

It's also probably good form to get back to the applicants to your law school before they're all dead and gone due to old age. Not that I'm bitter or anything.

I am also waiting on Chicago. I sent in my application the last minute. Got accepted/waitlisted at all the other schools except Stanford and Chicago. Just checked Chicago status, no update yet. Wonder if I should just withdraw my application.

No struggles to comprehend from me.

Ohmylanta123 has good numbers and appears to have reasonably strong leadership skills. Wouldn't know more without reading ps and resume.

beenawhile also has good numbers. Plus this person is a non-trad with 5-9 yrs work experience. The accepts to stanford and berkeley lead me to believe this person has ties to northern california. Also, could have a very resume.

Good numbers? They're both sub 3.9 and 170.
I bet the fact that they aren't kjd is a bigger boost than most think.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
