question-- it looks like there are only two available dates for the new js1, and i'm traveling for work on both. do more interview slots generally open up or is this something i should email the admissions office about?

If you keep creeping on this thread, you'll be able to go to the website and sign up for a slot next time there are JS1s and more slots open. However, I don't think it would hurt to contact admissions, especially if it drags until next week for more JS1s.

I noticed that several people were added to the Class of 2019 Facebook Page yesterday - does that mean more JS2s were released yesterday?

From the looks of it, they're all current HLS student "admission fellows"

I still haven't joined yet and I was the first wave. Is there anything going on there yet?

the odds are very good for anyone getting a JS1 unless it was off the waitlist.

I went complete way back on October 14. But, at long, long last, I have finally joined the JS1 club.

And huge congrats to the new JS1s. I'm not sure why everyone's being so pessimistic about getting them now - I'm pretty sure the odds are very good for anyone getting a JS1 unless it was off the waitlist.

I definitely thought the same thing until yesterday afternoon! As hard as it is, patience is the only thing that's going to save our sanity while we wait.

Yeah obxt I had a vaguely similar situation to you and I contacted the admissions office they were incredibly helpful/understanding and we were able to make it work.

I've been watching these forums from a distance for a bit now but thought I'd chime in with this most recent wave of JS1s. My application went complete on 12/08, and I got the invite yesterday morning, so it does seem like at least some early/mid-December applicants were included in this round.
