So does this mean that most progressing through that process without an interview are likely to get a ding/waitlist? Or do ding/waitlist often get less URs?

Common wisdom is that you have to interview for admission.

Application Under Review (UR 3) <- indicates second committee review of your file
Application Under Review (UR 4) <- most (all?) people get this in the days leading up to decisions being released

So interview requests typically come after UR1/1.5.

I just went UR2 (1.5?) on 3/6. UR1 was 1/28. Good or bad sign? Completed 1/15. No interview request as of now and fairly low numbers for UChi.

My status changed to "Application Under Review" on 2/21. The status stayed the same and the date changed to 3/6. No interview request. Am I in UR2?
