Lol haha pretty much this. But ive kept my app in for a while because I wanted the good feels of an NU acceptance. When waiting for it became tedious, I complained along with everyone else. Also I've realized that keeping my app in was selfish in retrospect, so Im out.

Also, tons of things posted on TLS are pointless, but still fun when everyone else is doing them (like telling everyone how many times youve refreshed your status checker, complaining about never hearing from a school etc.). But this doesnt apply to making cat puns in the Harvard thread. Those are just terrible.

Eh I wouldn't withdraw unless I had a full ride to a school I would rather attend.

You never know what can happen!

Think we'll see any decisions today? I'm a bit skeptical seeing as there was a Wednesday release... Feel like me might have to wait until next week

It's possible - I sure hope so otherwise there will be a about million decisions coming out Monday.

Either a million decisions or another quick edit from "8-10 weeks" to "8-12 weeks." Which will then be followed two weeks later by "before May."

Johann has spoken - does his cryptic snack food-themed message mean more decisions over the weekend?

I don't think it means anything. All of his posts referring to decisions going out were retweeted by NU Law Admissions.

I doubt decisions will come out over the weekend, but maybe Monday.

Wow, people really freaked out about a few of us withdrawing. I think it's way weirder to stay in it for the feel goods tbh. As pulstar said this is just something that makes sense for some of us given offers so far, it's not actually some mass protest. It's cathartic to say "so there" to NU but honestly i don't want to take someone else's spot or $$ if I am magically not dinged or WL'd, or waste my own or NU's time.

Lol just lol at people saying that catharsis is pointless. This thread would have like 4 posts if we applied that filter, and those comments would not be one of them.

Seriously best of luck to everyone who is still in it, particularly those of you waiting forever (which is like everyone at this point, right?).

Nah, pretty sure some of us are approaching forever and a day.

Assuming TLS people are evenly distributed among the app pool. Maybe they've ID'd us all and are holding our apps until the very end of the cycle.

On an unrelated note, I just had my alum interview for Georgetown, so I could feasibly hear from two schools this week. This might be the only time in my life I want a weekend over with.

it wasn't supposed to be a cat tar, if that's what you're saying. I've had this one since well before the HLS cat tar panic situation.

Hahahaha ok fair enough, I was just making sure. I'm personally a huge fan of The Fox and the Hound.

Also I have no idea what the HLS cat tar panic situation was, but I would love to be enlightened. I purely and shamelessly hopped onto the bandwagon.
A (dubious) correlation between cat tars and JS2s got people worked up in the H thread, and everyone made the switch for an admissions bump. It was actually quite entertaining to watch :)

Can't forget the two cat tars sweeping HYS that set off the JS2/cat tar correlation in the first place!
