Is anyone else having trouble logging in? The website hasn't recognized my username/password since last week...

Sigh. I guess that's just another reason why this cycle has been soul-crushing.
I'm also past 12 weeks, and I'm still only at UR1 (11/22).
Exact same boat on that.

+1, except late September.
I'm not sure where the frustration is coming from though. Penn started handing out decisions on RD just last week right?

It's not like you guys are behind.
Penn admitted some RD before Christmas. In any case though, I know I should try to be more positive and more patient. I think in my case the frustration is spilling over from my other apps (and the lack of response from schools for which I thought I was a good fit numbers-wise and wrote a "Why X"). I am just feeling pretty crappy about what I felt was a strong overall application to my schools at the beginning of this cycle.

That's what happens when you start advancing in age, ohpo. :( Soon, you'll be using TLS to make very apparent remarks about the weather and yet somehow relate it to your aches.

ohpo: Feels like the rain's comin'.
chneyo: Uh huh.
ohpo: The wind sure is pickin' up.
chneyo: Sure is.
ohpo: Feel it in the knees.

I don't think the dates mean anything. I think this is Penn holding us until some 172+s withdraw. 12/3 and hopeful!

Is yield protection really as big as people say it is for Penn? Are there certain LSAT/GPA cut-offs over which people tend to get rejected? I'm just curious... I don't think my numbers are too good :P I've just heard Penn and Michigan are notorious for it because they are used as HYS safeties

How do I tell if I'm UR1 vs. UR2? Updated to 1/13.

You have to have been keeping an eye on your status checker. UR1 would be the first date that you went under review, UR2 would be the next date change you saw in the status checker. When did you apply? We might be able to guess based on that.

I applied 10/12 and went complete 10/16. Trying not to get too excited by the date, I'm 170/3.67, so I assumed a waitlist for everything Upenn and up.

Sounds to me like that's a UR2 date but obviously I can't know for sure.

So are we thinking that everyone who has gone under review 2 has received a decision, and they're just going to wait to send a bunch out in bulk?

It looks like this is what they've done in the past.

Just checked and I am also UR2 as of 1/13. Hoping to hear back soon (as we all are, no doubt).

How are you guys not obsessively checking like every five minutes? I'm in the double digits every day.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
