I'm curious about this too. Anyone heard from Duke since December score release?wealtheow wrote:Checking in after getting my Dec LSAT! Still working on my Why Duke, hoping to submit by the end of this week.
Weird q, but back when I got my Duke waiver, the option of PT was not extended to me - my LSAT was right at their 25%... is there any chance they may offer that option to me now that I have jumped above their 75%? It would be nice to hear back quickly, although it's not that huge a deal, certainly not a big enough deal to e-mail them about, in any case.

I did not write a standalone "Why Duke" letter but I did write a bit about why I'm specifically interested in Duke in my PS.phillywc wrote:Congrats to the recent admits! Did you write Why Duke letters?

Just got the email. No "Why Duke" in any way. Above both 75th. Submitted just before Thanksgiving.
When should we expect to hear from the financial aid office? Also, when should we hear about the Mordecai? Thanks! And good luck to everyone still waiting!

In review 1/6. Applied the last day of October. Does anyone know how long it should take from here for RD not PT?

I applied a little later than you, RD as well. I was UR for about 6 weeks I think. Is 1/6 your UR1?gobears!! wrote:In review 1/6. Applied the last day of October. Does anyone know how long it should take from here for RD not PT?

Thanks for the insight. I am pretty sure it is UR1. What does the status update "Your application will go through several reviews." indicate? It's kind of a reach for me, so I'm assuming nothing great. Is anyone else in this position?

Honestly I'd be surprised if you had to wait that long on top of what you've already waited. Not sure what your stats are, but if your UR1 was today, I think you might realistically have some sort of decision before the end of January.gobears!! wrote:[Thanks for the insight. My guess is that RD will speed up now since most of the PT apps will have been dealt with. Although maybe they'll send out another large batch of PT invites to December applicants and things will slow down again.Nonconsecutive wrote:Honestly I'd be surprised if you had to wait that long on top of what you've already waited. Thanks a lot Nonconsecutive and Midwest17. I was thinking RDs would speed up but was not sure how many PT apps were left or even if there were any more going out. Hopefully the rest of us get a quick turn around now! Best of luck to everyonemidwest17 wrote:My guess is that RD will speed up now since most of the PT apps will have been dealt with. I applied via PT and went Under Review on the 3rd, so I'll be hearing back from Duke (the first school I'll hear from, I'm sure) by next Monday.

Just got the PT invite, so sure Duke, why not. Sent app today with 169/3.58. I suspect that they must be really trying to keep their median LSAT, since my gpa is nowhere near their median.

Re: Duke c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 Cycle)
Hi everyone,
I just received an email saying I was approved for Duke Priority Track and fee waiver. Can anyone here who's been through this explain the implications of this? My Lsat is crap for what Duke's looking but this seems like a better deal than Ed since it's not even binding.

I'm the flip side of this: --.anyriotgirl wrote:Just got the PT invite, so sure Duke, why not. Sent app today with 169/3.58. I suspect that they must be really trying to keep their median LSAT, since my gpa is nowhere near their median.
