If you live abroad, they'll probably just send you the e-mail.

I am pessimistic so I voted Tuesday but I am hoping for tomorrow as well. I think even for those of us who don't have any chance of getting in it will be nice to get the ball rolling.
we all have a chance of getting in : :D
Way to be optimistic. :) I didn't mean I have no chance of getting in, I just that i don't have a chance of getting in the first round of admits.

Don't be pessimistic specs.
Everything is possible this cycle.
Consider the fact that Stanford even admitted 10 or 20 students before turkey week!!!

Anyway, I found the following 3 profiles:
http://lawschoolnumbers.com/maxl847
http://lawschoolnumbers.com/pandamonium13
http://lawschoolnumbers.com/hq2x

They heard on the first 2 days of JS2s, and seem to have had only a few days between their JS1 (the actual interview, not the invite) and their JS2.

All the other people who heard back on the first 2 days seem to have had about 10 days between their JS1 and their JS2.

Should someone like Instinctive, who had his JS1 last week, expect to hear before thanksgiving (under the pre-thanksgiving JS1 can get pre-thanksgiving JS2 view Lavitz shared earlier)?

After thanksgiving'12, the next wave included people from early Nov submissions, so recent JS1s should wait until early Dec before they start to dread the hold?

Unfortunately, no one can predict that for certain. The next three days will tell.

Yeah, man, why would you just assume I'm American? Neprep guessed it right.

I heard people living overseas just get e-mails instead but a call at 2am would be infinitely cooler.

I'll certainly share if I do. My expectation is that I won't hear from anyone until January. Although perhaps that's just because I need to tell myself that to get my mind off of it and focus on other work.

No, not weird. I want an email. Especially from JS or AR — where there's a real fear of my being overwhelmed by their celebrity.

Interesting. Apparently South Korea is a large feeder for U.S. law schools (relative to other countries outside of North America).

Not to be a total downer, but does anyone have any stats regarding the likelihood of a pre- thanksgiving JS1 receiving a JS2 vs hold or waitlist,if he/she doesn't get a JS2 in the first post- thanksgiving wave (presumably this week)?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
