ED2 applicant here that just went UCR3 (UCR 1/7, 1/9, 1/16), which I didn't know was a thing. Don't know if that's bad, but it's probably not good. Anyone know if it means anything?

Expecting ding due to cratered GPA, but possible WL due to above-75% LSAT.

Just switched my app from ED to RD, i hope this wasn't a stupid decision but we'll see. Still says UR though.

I did that and got in on the second day they gave out RD decisions, so you do have a shot. Did you give a reason for switching to RD?

Yeah i gave them the reasons - personal - as to why i can't fully commit now to attending but i stated UPenn is still a top consideration of mine. I doubt i even have a chance with my scores but i got a fee waiver so i figure what the hell. I'll throw my hat into the ring.

How do you know if you go from UCR to UCR2? Would you had to have been checking your status checker constantly to recognize the date change? I just checked it today for the first time and I'm still on 12/2, and I submitted real early in the cycle.

Do they accept/reject/waitlist via e-mail, phone, or snail mail? I think UR2 happened for me early January but I still haven't heard anything. If they decided to ding me, you'd think they would've sent an e-mail by now, which is how, I think, a lot of schools ding people. Or maybe they sent the ding letter via snail mail?
