When does Cornell send out info for merit scholarships?

In via email and asked to write essay for Dean's Scholarship!!! So excited, Cornell has always been one of my top choices. Does anyone have any idea how many people are asked to write versus how many people actually get the Dean's? Congrats to everyone and good luck to everyone still waiting!!

Thank you! Mine was a few minutes after but my school's email system gets screwed up all the time so it could really be any time around then.

Just received the acceptance email! No mention of scholarship. Does anyone know if Cornell doles out scholarship money with the acceptance email or not?

Congrats!! I remember you having your first status complete change to 12/1. When was your next date of change?

Mine updated on 12/1, 12/6, and earlier today 12/8 before I received the email.

Same exact dates.

Now 12/8 but no acceptance. I wonder if this means a third reading or a deferral. I am crossing my fingers.

14 hours, no joke. End of business day 12/6 to morning of next business day, 12/7. Hopefully people on their third update yesterday or today will get acceptances tomorrow, if this is the pattern!

Whoa! I shouldn't have checked my blackberry in the middle of a work presentation today... thrown off a bit. VERY excited to see this come through. Complete mid-October and was borderline panicking about the lack of changes for the longest time.

You have to fill out their Financial Aid, which should have come in the acceptance packet, before they consider you for merit aid.

mine went from 9/28, 11/8, 12/6, and no more. seems like those who moved to 8th got acceptances, which makes me
don't wanna see the d letter, but i guess i have to deal with it if that's what i deserve.........
