Still UCR 12/15. Pretty sure I'll get WL'd though, just like with Virginia and Michigan.Knock wrote:Still UCR 12/09

Pure speculation here, but the outlook is bleak but not impossible. From the looks of it they sorted by LSAT score and we're the sub-170 group. I was pretty pessimistic about it at first, but there are some solid acceptances in the group - including a Harvard - so I do think it's a number group and not necessarily a decision group. I highly doubt that someone who got into Harvard would be placed in an auto-ding pile at Penn. However, there will most likely be more dings in our group than some of the others so the ones who make it through will need something stellar to make up for the below median LSAT score. Once again though, this is speculation.Aggiegrad2011 wrote:What does 1/5 mean!!!! Ahhhhh!!

Well, tbh, I am pretty auto-ding worthy IMO... so that wouldn't surprise me. My military experience and 4 years of academic awesomeness haven't been getting me too far this cycle.law_monkey wrote:Pure speculation here, but the outlook is bleak but not impossible. I'm sorry if I am asking a redundant question, looked for an answer in this thread but it was simply too much to dig through...
I applied 11/28, went complete 12/15, and nothing since. No UCR...
Should I be very worried? I don't think I'm auto-admit but I don't think I'm auto-ding. Waitlist? 3.87/165 (URM - MA)

I hope you are right!wiseguy33 wrote:So 1/3 = auto-admit and 12/23 = probable admit?
Just going by profile stats and LSP.
We know they've been working since they technically closed the 22nd, and I would bet the groups with 2 UCR dates have already been decided on. My guess is tomorrow morning they double check their decisions for 12/23, then call (hopefully no WL/reject emails

I was 12/22 ---> 01/05... hrrrm. I missed both important days by at least one.
I must be in the ding pile. Oh well, not at all unexpected.

Assuming you're talking about me, also went to Penn undergrad, so I think that helps too. I wouldn't be shocked to be wl'ed but an auto-ding (when I don't have yp numbers) would be quite surprising.law_monkey wrote:Pure speculation here, but the outlook is bleak but not impossible. So since my only UCR date is 12/23 I probably shouldn't set my heart on hearing anything today....right?

Maybe I am waitlist too, but don't think I'm auto-ding. GPA @ median (Ivy), LSAT above 75%

Why do you think we're in the ding pile? What are your numbers?Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I was 12/22 ---> 01/05... hrrrm. I missed both important days by at least one.

I think whoever said we're simply the "under 170" group was probably closer to the truth.123kl wrote:Why do you think we're in the ding pile? What are your numbers?Aggiegrad2011 wrote:I was 12/22 ---> 01/05... hrrrm. I missed both important days by at least one.

So, according to their website, decisions were suppose to commence today. Does anyone near Penn have an idea of if the snow will be complicating that at all?
Edit: In the sense that workers might not be able to get there due to the snow, or they might leave early, meaning no time for calls/emails ,etc.

I think you 1/5ers are totally safe. Here at TLS we are probably thinking WAY too far into their process. For all we know a machine just sorts the apps by LSAT, not taking into consideration any other factors. I'd say everyone still stands a very good chance (notwithstanding the fact that it's Penn and no one really has a "good chance")

No snow problems here! We got like an inch in the morning but public transportation was running fine. So unless they got waylaid by the random Eagles pep rally in Suburban Station the adcomms should be hard at work by now.TLSNYC wrote:So, according to their website, decisions were suppose to commence today. Dude, you're definitely not a waitlist, unless it's for yield protection.padthai wrote:Me too :\ Been complete since 12/3...quetzal_bird wrote:I'm sorry if I am asking a redundant question, looked for an answer in this thread but it was simply too much to dig through...

Also, I went complete in the first week of December and have yet to go under review. Penn is one of my top choices, so I'm eager to hear back, but I know it will take a while.
