I have given up hope UR since 11/16. Got complete email on the 24th. Nothing...oh well I only applied because I used to tell my mom I would go there as a kid. Well...other reasons too, but it's easier to let myself down this way.

There haven't been any JR1s since I went under review in late November, but it's starting to bum me out :/

The Beatles thought that all you needed was love, but they were wrong. All you need is faith! Don't give you now. Harvard has only accepted a small fraction of its class right now. There are way more acceptances to come. Don't be nonchalant about this..

I'm UR 10/22 as well. I think we're down to basically zero chance of ever getting a JR1. Oh well, we gave it a shot.

Eh... it was a long shot for me anyways with my sub-25% LSAT even though my GPA is > 75%. I just wish they'd tell us one way or the other so I can stop thinking about it!

I beat you. 10/6. And I'm above both 75%. Still many months left in the cycle though

What is it with people thinking that if they didn't get a JR1 after a couple of weeks of going UR they are a "lost cause"? I think it simply means you are not an auto-admit but if you have competative numbers your time will likely come later in the cycle.

I'm in a state of reserved optimism about my app.

I think I'm more optimistic about Stanford because of their lower median LSAT- although, as someone hilariously pointed out on that thread, Stanford is like the person who is way out of your league but who you think you have a shot with.

Yeah totally agree with this. There's a lot of cycle left and HLS is probably just taking a little more time with our apps.

I'm pretty much right at both medians myself, so I assumed they were going to wait a little bit on me.

I think, perhaps, people are getting discouraged because people with similar numbers are getting JR1s and JR2s, but we just gotta hang in there a little while longer. Looking at LSN from last year, there were plenty of people who submitted as early as October who didn't get JR1s until even as late as January and beyond.
