Any thoughts on when merit scholarships should be announced?

I know the Rothman semi-finalists won't be announced til early March but I'm wondering about the rest of their scholarships.

It might not bode well for us money-wise but I'm trying to stay optimistic & convince myself that once they're done with the Rothman invites they'll start looking our way

Not to be a wet blanket but I've been IR since 1/14, and there are people who have been IR longer than me.

Not yet. I emailed the financial aid office to confirm that they got all of the necessary documents. They said that they did and that I should hear about scholarships in a few weeks, full financial aid package to be released in late March.

IN per letter (in small, scary envelope) received today. DF 2/12, letter postmarked 2/12. I live in LA, which is how I got it so quickly. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

No, but I'm abroad and will probably be the last to hear. Would be great if people could post when they get their letters from that date! Fingers crossed, for letters and also for those still waiting.

I went complete on 02-09 and just checked the status today. It says "Decision finalized." Do you all think that such a quick turnaround on my application is a good sign? Numbers: 167/3.7

With your numbers I'd say you're in. It looks like they admit anyone above 167 and 3.6.

Edit: Oh, and an FYI, I'm a 167 3.48, sent my app in 1/15, complete 1/29, haven't heard back yet. Status is still complete. For whatever that's worth.

Just call them. They are very nice at that office, I'm sure they'll tell you if anything is up with your app.
