Is there a thread for Georgetown c/o 2020 applications? Regardless, has anyone submitted an app to GULC and gotten an e-mail/confirmation/status checker info? In reality, it's only been 3-4 days, but it seems like an eternity.

I don't think there's a GULC thread yet (I've posted less than 10 times on here so not up for starting it myself, though I've been keeping an eye out!). I got my status checker email less than 12 hours after applying, so if you haven't gotten it after a week I would definitely follow up.

Also curious if anyone has gotten interview requests for GULC! I interviewed last week, although my interview request came prior to GULC's app opening. I'm curious how quickly people usually get interviews after applying (to get a feel for how quickly they are reviewing apps over there).

Hello everybody! I have a question regarding LSAT score cancellation. I took the LSAT in June and scored slightly lower than my practice tests, but well within the medians of a lot of schools I'm looking at. I then wanted to retake it (since the general consensus is every point matters). However, I got sick before the test, and while sitting for it had eally bad coughing fits throughout, . In light of this, I'm sure I didn't do as well. Would cancelling this score be looked at negatively? It would be my only cancellation, and I don't think I would retake.

Do I need to write an addendum/should I be concerned? Or do I let the first score stand?

I'm also interested in knowing how a cancellation is looked upon by admissions departments.

Hey, I got an answer from the Spivey consulting page--they said no addendum and one cancellation is fine!

Tbh there should be a "Texas" choice, but I went with south. I think that Texas more culturally identifies with like mid-west (Nebraska, Oklahoma, Colorado, etc) than the traditional deep south.

East Texas is definitely the South (looking at you Beaumont). Once you get to Houston it is questionable. Definitely the South in a historical context, but I also feel like outside of the Civil War, we are doing our own thing.

Certainly feels that way. Everywhere else I've lived, I've lumped Texas in with the South, but now that I'm here, I'm like well it sort of has more in common with Mexico than like Alabama....can you tell I live in south Texas??
