Is there a Class of 2019 Facebook page?

Should I be worried that I still haven't heard anything regarding interviews yet? I applied back in the middle of February with median LSAT and GPA. Judging from some of the posts of other late applicants, it looks like others heard back about interviews pretty quickly.

I'm in the same boat here. I thought some people got in without an interview. Have I thought wrong? You just made me begin to worry.relisher wrote:Should I be worried that I still haven't heard anything regarding interviews yet? I applied back in the middle of February with median LSAT and GPA. I withdrew on the deposit deadline of April 1st. I was waiting for a scholarship update but it never arrived. Didn't feel good depositing based on the potential of an update.

I would not be surprised if they were trying to raise their medians this year. So if you are right at last year's medians, they are probably holding on to your app until the very end to see if they can't admit you without a change in their stats.relisher wrote:Should I be worried that I still haven't heard anything regarding interviews yet? It was fairly casual. I've been out of school for 2 years so just had some questions about my resume, and the "why law school" question. Then just had time to answer any questions I had.anrobinson wrote:got asked to interview today

Definitely prepare any questions you have for WashU, as you should have a chance to get them answered

Tough decision, but I withdrew today. I feel bad leaving so much money on the table, but hopefully someone else here gets it!

I have sent them a full scholarship offer from a peer school last week but got nothing back yet.16to19 wrote:Has anyone had success negotiating up to a full scholarship + stipend? I'm sitting at 135k.

If it helps, I gave back a Dean's Fellowship-(full ride, but no stipend). So at least in theory that should be one more spot open for a fellowship16to19 wrote:Has anyone had success negotiating up to a full scholarship + stipend? I'm sitting at 135k.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
I know somebody asked a while back what happens if you don't deposit by the deadline. I too am curious about that, so I'm not going to withdraw for a little bit and see what happens. My deadline was extended at my request, so I only recently passed it. I'll report back here when/if I get some sort of notice from the school that they're revoking my offer of admission or scholarship.

Yes. It'd be monumentally stupid to play chicken otherwise.mukol wrote:Were you planning to withdraw anyway?thebrownnote wrote:I know somebody asked a while back what happens if you don't deposit by the deadline. Why not just withdraw to help the peeps sitting on the WL? (Not on WL, but I think it'd be more considerate to the people on WL to give them a shot at getting off the WL sooner, than it is to play chicken to tell someone how long they can play chicken)thebrownnote wrote:Yes. Long time lurker here for this cycle. Is it ever justifiable to attend WUSTL after getting off the waitlist?

Independently very wealthy + a lot of free time to kill + insatiable love for western St. Louis. So, no, not without a large scholarship.sigil wrote:Long time lurker here for this cycle. Is it ever justifiable to attend WUSTL after getting off the waitlist?
