Just got an interview request after being at complete 1/11 and then going to UR2 02/05. Guess it wasn't a ding like we thought it might be a couple of pages back!

I went on the reserve list 1/4, received an email today saying i remained a competitive member of the applicant pool and requesting an interview. Anyone know if this is just relatively standard procedure for the reserve list or a good sign?

Got mine as well! Definitely impressed.WhiteHouse wrote:Just received the Big Red Book in the mail. I'm very impressed by the packaging![]()
The mention of schollys starting to go out Feb 15th in it has got me excited. I was only accepted a few weeks ago but I submitted all my info immediately so I'm hoping that offsets it a bit.

Question about merit aid: I was told on the phone that everything needed to be submitted before the form. Because I'm applying for loans (but not need-based aid), would my FAFSA need to be submitted before I can submit the form?

I mean they're not gonna throw it in the trash because your FAFSA isn't done. It might not get reviewed until your FAFSA is in but if it's ready to go, I'd fax it in anyway.jewkidontheblock wrote:Question about merit aid: I was told on the phone that everything needed to be submitted before the form. I've been at "application ready for review" since 1/20, the same day they received my application.
Am I correct in assuming that I'm cooked, or should I just be more patient? I'm trying to sort out my March travel plans and need to know if I should start scrambling to find a couch to stay on in that neck of the woods.
LSAT > 75%, GPA < 25%

Did Cornell require more than 2 LOR? I am getting an odd notification in my LSAC account right now.

"Required:
2 LORs and 0 Evaluations
2 additional documents which can be either LORs or Evaluations (Pay attention to accepted numbers).
Total required: 4
Accepted:
up to 4 LORs and/or 2 Evaluations
Total accepted cannot exceed: 6"
Interesting.

Omg mine says that too. What is missing?heynowheynow wrote:My LSAC account currently sayshopefuljumbo23 wrote:Nope, just two. Interesting.
Edited to add: I reread the Cornell law admissions website. I think LSAC is mistaken because the law admissions website explicitly says that evaluations are optional. And it says they only need 2 letters of rec.
I'll call LSAC tomorrow (they might be closed because it's a holiday) or the day after and let you know what they say.
Meanwhile, Cornell has my CAS report because my application has already been marked complete and under review.
Really hoping this is nothing but an error.

Many people wait literally months to hear anything back. I wouldn't worry.
