Gracias! Last year on 3/31 users reported there being ~230 members in the 2017 FB group. I am going to take this as a positive sign!

Yeah. Not going down that particular road to hell just yet. I'm rejected until I know otherwise. No hopes getting up here.
Fingers crossed for you, morningstar!!

Might be mistaken, but I'm actually pretty sure they open at 8am PST, not 9am.curlietop86 wrote:DLS yesterday. contemplating calling when they open at 9PT to see if i made the WL...
You may want to try calling in a couple minutes and letting us know if you got through, so the other people who want to call can find out whether or not they need to wait another hour to ask about their status?

Def taking this as a good sign. Last year they made 408 offers, so even if, like, 100 people have been accepted and are not on the facebook group there would still be around 140 offers left to make!Oskosh wrote:Gracias! They're open. I was a Wednesday DLS, and just confirmed I'm a (heartbroken) ding as opposed to an (optimistic) WL. Hope you get better news than I did.curlietop86 wrote:DLS yesterday. contemplating calling when they open at 9PT to see if i made the WL...

Really sorry to hear that, morningstar. A waitlist as Harvard is a great prospect! I hope you hear good news from Yale.

I really think that you guys who call after seeing the DLS are brave, and positive.
What is even more awesome, you go the extra miles in telling us the results and wish all the best for us.
Thanks to you all.

DLS on Thursday, worked up the nerve to call today. Dinged. Good luck to all still in the running! For what it's worth, the phone call is quick and to the point. Better to know than agonize over it.
This gave me the courage to call. I mostly lurk, but TLS has still been a great support system.
