I begin to feel an increasing sense of despair and a nagging feeling that they just don't need the WL this year.

...that or they've already pulled from the WL and it just wasn't captured on TLS/LSN - which due to the size is a very real possibility.

i'm holding out hope until end of may!

So does this means they've already pulled from the WL and it just wasn't captured on TLS/LSN?

That, or two regular admits just got back from doing humanitarian work in Madagascar or Palau or something (because Yale) and accepted the Facebook group invite

I'd be surprised to hear anything at this point.

How long will you ride the waitlist for?

I'm in it till the end... though at this point, not feeling too hopeful...

Have some good leads on housing in Cambridge so at least that's got me feeling good.

Yeah. I feel you. But I'm also riding it out till the bitter end.

And hey, your back-up plan sounds really good. 8)

Also riding it out until the end.
I wonder how much impact updates and supplemental info have when it comes to getting in off the WL at Yale...

Yep, I agree with unperroandaluz - if you update your application, do it only once with your LOCI, as per Asha's instructions. "One. LOCI. Punto." Exact quote.

Well, once all the paperwork/payment/etc. is done with my new apartment/roommate, I may drop the good fight here. I think it'd be crappy of me to bail on the person who has picked me above some other possible roommates to live with her, and at this point it seems likely that waitlist movement already happened (if it did at all) and it just wasn't captured on TLS/LSN.

I am really excited to move to Boston. New Haven and I had a good run, but I'm ready to move. Though New Haven had a much less snowy winter than Boston did...

255 members. Still in it though, so obviously they haven't kicked out everybody who's withdrawn.

ETA: 256 as of May 27th.

So has everyone received a waitlist confirmation email? Or just the people who submitted early on?

So it appears the Twitter feed has moved on to transfers. Have we abandoned all hope here?
