Got the interview. But I think I'm just going to withdraw my app. I have no plans to attend anymore, no point in having to suit up and meet someone.

You planning on going to law school at all? Pretty sure I bombed mine and am not going to get in anyways, but I found it actually beneficial to have a fairly serious interview with a lawyer. He gave me some pretty good tips on interviewing for legal positions (probably because he saw I was doing so poorly).

To be more specific: I have no plan to attend the school, so I don't feel like trekking in the cold for something I am not really interested in. That said, I might just do it for the reason you mentioned.

With an UR date of 12/6 is there any chance for a decision today (IF today's the day)?...or would there need to be an UR date that is fairly recent...I believe this is my second date change after the interview.

Had my first update (1/22) since mid-December, the day after my alum interview. Absolutely terrified since I'm a long shot, but would love to attend Northwestern. What does this mean??

It means your interviewer probably sent in your interview to the school and your file was made complete...

Yea, last week it was 4 PM EST. Decisions only go out of their systems on the hour.

My interviewer said he'd have his report up by that Friday. Nothing's changed between now and then.

I requested one in the application, and had a location that's about an hour and half away from me that I said I'd be willing to interview at - do I need to contact them to set that up, or will they reach out to me?

They'll give you the interviewer's name and contact info and then you'll need to set it up. But admissions will reach out to you with that info first.
