Complete early in November, Interview request on Thursday. Interviewed yesterday and was just emailed.

Waitlisted early January. Anyone know the likelihood of coming off the waitlist? I am not a VA resident. Is there a best time to send a LOCI.

Does everybody have the message about being complete along the top of the status check page and nothing in the usual status box? Is it not really complete until I get something in the status box?

Last cycle it's estimated that close to 20% of the incoming class came from the WL. The best time to send a LOCI is when you have something additional to report that would be of interest to the adcomm. For instance, a new LSAT score, new grades that raise your GPA, a new job or promotion, an exciting, enlightening trip, etc.

Note that you shouldn't wait for something additional to report to just occur, make it happen! If you can't make anything exciting happen after 3-4 weeks consider writing a LOCI and including different aspects of UVA curricular/non-curricular activities that are drawing you to the school.

Hm...so she got a call sometime in the evening today it seems...
