It's really sounding like the emails are going to the Butler/Hamilton candidates...

It seems like they're going somewhat in order of application. When did you apply?

Don't worry though, by the sound of the email people are getting, it still may be pretty random within that subset. Perhaps having awesome numbers is necessary but not sufficient to get an email? :)

If you didn't get an emails then it's definitely not ALL Butler/Hamilton candidates getting emails...

That's fair. I wasn't complete until mid-December. I haven't been checking very closely, but I don't think anyone that late has gotten an invite?

Got mine about 2 hrs ago.

EDIT: And likely made it as easy as looking at my numbers for them to out me... but I don't think I've said anything too inflammatory for it to matter.

Yeah, don't worry too much guys if you didn't get an e-mail. I'm complete the beginning of December with well above 75th LSAT and a couple ticks above 75th GPA and no interview request here. And I'd be very surprised if I didn't get a lot of consideration for at least a Butler scholarship.

But yeah. What a fucking wrench. I'm guessing no packages for a couple weeks, most likely?

Maybe just delays for the interviewees? So they selected people who they knew they'd probably accept so as to not disadvantage more marginal applicants by delaying the process?

No idea, just throwing things out. I can't imagine they would wait until February to start accepting people. It seems a little strange they would start this interview program at this point in the cycle.

This is what I'm hoping and going to go on believing until proven wrong. I wasn't in Butler/Hamilton territory to start with and would be beyond shocked to be offered either scholarship, so just being admitted soon would be fantastic.

Good luck to everyone who has received an interview invite. Seems like you're all shoe ins!

Right, very odd. I can't imagine them holding this unlucky randomly selected group back for no reason but to try out doing interviews. Doesn't add up. Maybe they interviewees are on the cusp between two scholarship packages, and they're trying to decide which to give? So not all overqualified applicants are getting interviewed but those between stages of merit scholarships. Just a theory.

Anyone know if I'm correct in thinking that in past cycles the Butler floor was 174? I seem to recall reading this but I can't find the thread......

Relax. Above both 75% and no interview. I think they are just experimenting interviews considering this is their first year doing so. The interviews won't have much an impact on their decisions.

Almost positive that's the general TLS line of thinking. I remember pacifica not getting a Butler despite sweeping the T14 (think he had a 173)

International applicants: you'll get the acceptance email before any snail mail acceptances reach our inbox. It's up to you to let us know when CLS finally releases decisions! So ya better post 8)

Lastsamurai, you haven't received an interview invite yet, right? Are we still #cycletwins?

Yeah kersh we're twins...not sure yet if we're in the right group though. I mean I could speculate for hours, but I'm still hoping that we see some acceptances this week. I guess CLS figured that since they're already the latest T14 to admit RD applicants that they might as well take their time
