Congrats to everyone who got their KB2s!
Submitted in the first week of November like a few other people in this thread, any ideas about when my app would likely go complete? I know I really shouldn't but I'm getting quite anxious.

I submitted 11/7 and went UR yesterday if that helps

Submitted then too, been under review since 11/16 for those looking to compare.

Was very excited to find KB1 in my inbox just now. Minor issue - I'm in Asia and the time she wants to interview me is between 3:00 and 4:00PM EST (5:00 and 6:00 AM here), which means that I'll need to wake up at 4:30 on a work day . Does this sound like a legitimate reason to ask for a reschedule? I'd be happy with any AM time EST. Thanks!

I think it is...but for Christ's sake IT'S HARVARD. This doesn't happen everyday. I would say go to sleep super early the night before and wake up super early. Think about how many people are scheduling and how difficult it is to re-schedule/find an accommodating time for just a fraction of those people.

Under review 10/24. I'll send them an email, making it clear that I'd still be game for interviewing at the original time if rescheduling isn't feasible.

FWIW, I would absolutely NOT ask for a reschedule for this reason. She's got a tight schedule I wouldn't risk annoying her with a reason that IMO is pretty weak. Glgl tho and congrats!

I wasn't, nor was I asked "why Harvard" but I think that's because I already mentioned what program and prof I wanted to work with in my prior, "what type of law" question. I heard her say "great" and write something when I said it and then it was over.

Soj, did you get something specific or just the general "Why Harvard?"

For those getting nervous, it is very brief. Unless you can't answer why law in a coherent way or articulate some reason for going to Harvard, you're going to be fine. She even said in mine something to the effect of "What type of law do you think you might be interested in? It doesn't need to be anything terribly specific and its ok if you're not sure." I really don't see how the interview can change your chances too much one way or the other, based on both brevity and generality. I stumbled on and thought mine was awful, and I know of at least one other TLSer who got a KB2 that had the same feeling (we had a discussion about how badly we miffed up). So relax, be as clear and honest as possible and then settle in for the wait. Sdwhodat had a 4 minute conversation. All with the same result. Even if you don't get a KB2, I have a feeling it will have far more to do with what you've already submitted than with what you say in the interview (barring saying something stupid or being plain weird or what not).

I was asked why harvard even though I had already mentioned some of my reasons for wanting to attend harvard in the why law question. Good thing I'd prepared plenty of why harvard answers. At the end of the interview, I was asked if I had any questions for her. I had a question prepared, but I think it would have been fine even if I said I had no questions. The interview was definitely laid back and low-stress. Mine took less than four minutes total.

I'll refrain from asking how this augurs for "low" GPA people's chances of ever getting one compared with previous years.

Woke up to an email from Harvard this morning. Got really excited until I saw that it was just notification that my application is complete (even though I have been UR since 11/16). What a fake-out. *sigh*

Had my KB1 this morning, think it went well. About 9 minutes in total, with plenty of time for my questions. She was very personable and almost made me forget my jitters.
