When you submitted your LOCIs was there any sort of acknowledgement of it on the status checker page?

No, but I got an e-mail reply saying thanks for my continued interest and that the updated resume I attached would be added to my file.

Hopefully we get some news on Tuesday/ Wednesday of this week.

I'm not sure how they will handle this week with Jamie being out of until the 17th but hopefully they have a good idea on the order and can just go ahead and give admits after they have a better idea on the available seats.

I'm hoping all of us waiting on the forums are granted admittance.

My best guess is that they won't send anything out until the 17th or later. But if they wanted to, I'm sure they have another admissions admin that can send out an email.

They're adding more people to the admitted group. I wonder if those are tricklers, or are people who are just being admitted.

I thought everything was going to be on hold till Jamie gets back on the 18th. Are they currently accepting people while she is out of the office? So there is current activity taking place?

I don't think anyone knows, it's just speculation. I think admissions offices can function without their head for a week - hell, they're doing an admitted students preview without her there tomorrow afternoon. My guess is they probably have a list of people and just start admitting them when people withdraw. Maybe a list sorted my LSAT and then another by GPA, depending on whatever they need based on the person who withdrew. Who knows though.

Stay positive! I've heard that they have made a few cuts (according to a friend's mom, one of her friend's sons got denied from the list last week). We made it this far.

It looks as though we won't hear anything until the 18th at the earliest but at least it should be done quickly after as everything should be sorted out.

txtag is right, i didn't walk away learning anything about the law school experience that i hadn't already learned from TLS, and the info they shared barely scratched the surface of whats discussed here, or even contrary to TLS advice.

For those still WL, I just wanted to add that the Dean of Student Affairs said we won't get enrolled in our sections until the final list of students is complete and that probably won't be until August. She also made a comment about how they know many of the students there would never be heard from again if they got into other schools they were WL @, so it must be typical for there to be movement on the lists for a few more weeks. Hang in there guys. It's not over yet!
