Re: WUSTL 2011 Cycle
so, I definitely want to visit WUSTL but the two remaining ASDs are hugely inconvenient for me. I could maybe swing the one in march but february is out of the question. to those who went to the one in january: do you think you got a lot out of it above and beyond a standard law school visit/tour? is it worth moving around some prior obligations to make the march ASD or should I just visit on my own?

It's the way the law school game works. Deal with it. You already paid the app fee, why does it matter if they get back to you today or a month from today? Deposits aren't due until April.HelltotheNo wrote:I am considering withdrawing from WUSTL. I have been complete for far too long with numbers that are 90%+ sure of being accepted.
Look, I know it's really annoying to wait. Trust me. But, in the end, how much does it really matter?

fatduck, your avatar is making me want to get a dog. Or a lobster.
I still haven't received my stuff in the mail (not shocking since I was only accepted last week). Is it uncouth if I just call/email them to say I want to attend the ASW? My job requires me to plan these things out a good bit in advance...

I may be losing it here but I don't think WUSTL sends anything in the mail (I was accepted over a month ago). I'm like 90% sure I didn't get anything, anyway. If you go to the admitted students website (which you should have got an email about) you can RSVP for the ASD there.GoldenGopherHopeful wrote:fatduck, your avatar is making me want to get a dog. You didn't get a USB in the mail? My roommate/other posters received a small package that included a flash drive...fatduck wrote:I may be losing it here but I don't think WUSTL sends anything in the mail (I was accepted over a month ago). I think you only get the USB and stuff in the mail after you RSVP for an ASW. I read that on here somewhere earlier, RSVPed, then got mine within a week or so.fatduck wrote:oh yea, I remember now. well, regardless, you RSVP online on the admitted students portalGoldenGopherHopeful wrote:You didn't get a USB in the mail? Ya, I'm not going to any ASWs, and I received a packet with the info in it.fatduck wrote:no, I did get mine before I rsvp'd, I just completely forgot about it D:Jeffro wrote:I think you only get the USB and stuff in the mail after you RSVP for an ASW. Most of the stuff on the drive is just material you can find on the website, but it's nice to have a free memory stick.
And it's also interesting that they request an official transcript sent to the school from your ug. LSAC does not suffice.

This is the case for every school, as far as I am aware, if you decide to attend.Jackson Pollock wrote:And it's also interesting that they request an official transcript sent to the school from your ug. LSAC does not suffice.

Same (though last week of October). LSP probably hasn't taken the 168 barrier into account.tttlllsss wrote:I'm still at Complete. Sent my app in the first week of OctKingRajesh wrote:

Wash U is only on the cusp of being elite, not fully elite yet. It is therefore a TTT and not worth attending.

lol, I understand that, but I was wondering if there were any legitimate reasons for the bad rep.
